My name is Yvonne, I was born in England (Essex). I have lived in France with my partner for a year now. We have two children, my son is eleven and at college in Limoux, my daughter nearly two and attends the local crèche. We lived in Quillan at first whilst renovating (by ourselves) a property in a village near to Limoux. Its finished and now I can get back to what i enjoy – teaching!
I studied French to A level standard and have exams in talking business French. I teach children and adults “holiday French” and have had many experiences since living here to back up my love and sometimes despair of the language!
After my arrival last year I realised there is a need for guidance and advice when you first live here – especially if you have limited knowledge of the language. I aim for the course to be fun, and to give you the confidence to get by in all situations. I am not here to teach you grammar, gender or comprehension but guarantee to boost your French vocabulary.
I am looking forward to meeting you all, making friends, sharing some of our knowledge and experiences.
